Main Responsibility

The Senior Systems Engineer will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that enhance operational efficiency. This role will involve approximately 70% system design and implementation and 30% support and optimization. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to analyze system requirements, develop effective solutions, and ensure seamless integration and performance throughout the system lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and design system architectures that effectively meet their needs.
- Implement and configure systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of system functionalities.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend enhancements and upgrades to existing systems.
- Train and support clients on system functionalities, best practices, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in systems engineering or related technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
Technical Skills
Main
- Proven experience in systems engineering or a related technical role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and methodologies, including best practices for scalability and security.
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on-premises computing solutions (e.g., Dell).
- Proficient in virtualization software (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in systems and services management (e.g., Active Directory Domain Controller (ADDC), Active Directory Certificate Authority (ADCA), DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with system monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
Extra
- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with network protocols and security practices (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems) is a plus.
